The winners and losers of 2022 to date
David Reynolds and Tim Slade are the biggest winners of the 2022 season so far, against their 2021 campaigns.
Reynolds and Slade have gained more places than any other driver after five rounds compared to 2021.
The Ford drivers have each gained 10 positions; Reynolds is fifth and Slade ninth after five events.
This time last year, they were 15th and 19th respectively.
Three drivers are in the same positions; series leader Shane van Gisbergen, Will Davison (fourth) and Andre Heimgartner (12th).
On the up
Anton De Pasquale is second in the points, and has gained a net six positions.
De Pasquale’s first season in Shell V-Power red was littered with retirements.
While he is still winless, he is still 333 points better off versus last year.
Macauley Jones (up six) and Todd Hazelwood (up four) have also made considerable gains.

In a slump
The biggest losers in 2022 so far are Nick Percat and Mark Winterbottom.
Percat’s move to Walkinshaw Andretti United has so far failed to pay dividends.
Through five rounds in 2021, he was seventh; after five rounds in 2022, Percat is 16th.
Winterbottom, meanwhile, was sixth after five rounds in 2021. He is 14th after five rounds this season.
Bryce Fullwood (down seven), Jake Kostecki and Will Brown (down five) have also started 2022 in a funk.
