After a four-week countdown, Supercars.com has revealed Jamie Whincup as its standout driver since 2000.

Whincup was a unanimous number one, with the Supercars Hall of Famer winning seven championships and 125 races, both all-time records.

The now Triple Eight Race Engineering boss also won the Bathurst 1000 four times, three times alongside Craig Lowndes, who came in fifth behind Scott McLaughlin, Shane van Gisbergen and Mark Skaife.

Lowndes claimed a whopping six Bathurst wins, but McLaughlin, van Gisbergen and Skaife all won three championships this century, beaten only by Whincup.

Drivers to have won both a championship and Great Race, namely Garth Tander, Mark Winterbottom, Rick Kelly and Brodie Kostecki, also feature in the top 11, alongside Marcos Ambrose and Greg Murphy.

All told, 17 of the top 25 won the Bathurst 1000, and all 12 champions were also recognised, including Will Brown.

Tickets for the season-opening round in Sydney, on February 21-23, are on sale now.
