V8 Utes field locked in for Townsville

The second round of the V8 Utes series heads north for the Watpac Townsville 400.
Following the opening races of the season at Winton, the series reconvenes for another show around the streets of Townsville.
Twelve entries have been confirmed to head north with long-time campaigner Craig Dontas rejoining the field.
Dontas will drive a GJ Gardner Homes backed Commodore prepared by the Sieders Racing Team.
Young driver Mason Barbera will also be replaced by Matt Spratt in the #17 Falcon after he started the season in car #44.
Series veteran Kim Jane leads the points ladder after the opening weekend ahead of Barbera and former champion Marcus Zukanovic.
The V8 Utes will be on track on Friday from 8:50am before racing three times over the weekend.
