Team Bray Entertainment is set to bring a ‘triple-treat’ burn-out show to the fast approaching Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, thanks to the addition of a brand new car and driver to its line-up.

Team Bray will be on track each day with the burn-out cars at the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, as one of the many supporting attractions to the year's biggest race.

The team's new car – a 2000hp 1963 Corvette – will be piloted by Ben Bray and is being built with both burn-out and drift events in mind. Currently under construction at the Team Bray workshop, the car will make its debut at the renowned Mount Panorama circuit.

With Bray set to take the wheel of the powerful new Corvette, his Formula Tech/Walkinshaw Performance/Sidchrome 440 ute will now be found in the hands of Perth’s Brett Stewart – pilot of the number 73 Dunlop V8 Supercar Series entry and the newest edition to TBE.

“I am super excited to get on-track with the brand new TBR 1963 Corvette,” Bray said.

“As a 2000hp drift car, I am not sure exactly how it will go when we get the burn-outs going – I reckon there will be some wild rides and I think I might find myself on the grass a fair bit!

“We will be testing out the new machine at Sydney Dragway’s Labour Day burn-out competition the week of the 1000, so hopefully I will be well-practiced by the time we get onto the hallowed ground of Mount Panorama!”

TBE principal and six-time national Top Doorslammer Champion Victor Bray said the team was very happy to welcome Stewart to the workshop as time ticks down to the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000.

“With less than a month until the Bathurst 1000 which will signal a new era for us (with the new car) as well as for V8 Supercars with the introduction of Nissan and Mercedes at Mount Panorama, the excitement in the workshop is certainly building!” Victor said.

“I am very pleased to be able to officially welcome Brett Stewart to TBE, he is a great driver and I know he is going to help us elevate our signature style of burn-out entertainment to a whole new level this October.”

Joining TBE on-track as part of the official entertainment program will be Matt Mingay and his Stuntz Inc crew.

“TBE and Stuntz Inc go a fair way back, we have been sharing official on-track entertainment billing at these kinds of events for years and they also take part in our Slamfest drag racing events as well.

“One thing I can promise the fans is plenty of light-hearted competition between our two outfits, as we try to out-do each other when it comes to putting on the best show!”

The biggest V8 Supercars race of the year, the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000, runs from October 7 to 10. Tickets for the event area available through Ticketek.
