  • Full entry list for 2026 DUNLOP Super2 Series revealed

  • 20 cars set to take on opening round on February 20-22

  • Eggleston, Chahda to unveil final two drivers within next week

The full 20-car field for the opening round of the 2026 DUNLOP Super2 Series has been revealed, with the final seven drivers also announced.

The final entry is split between 11 Holden ZB Commodores and nine Ford Mustang GTs, representing a field that is only three cars smaller than the field at the 2025 finale in Adelaide.

Alongside already confirmed entries from Tickford, Blanchard Racing Team, Brad Jones Racing, Matt Stone Racing, Alice Buckley Motorsport, and Anderson Motorsport, final lineups for Round 1 have been locked in.

Eggleston Motorsport have confirmed that Cody Burcher, Elliott Cleary, and Bradi Owen will all return for second seasons at the four-car squad, with the remainder of the field made up by a mix of new and returning names.

Eggleston's fourth driver is yet to be announced, however they will be a Super2 rookie. Porsche Carrera Cup ace Bayley Hall has been linked to the seat amid rumours he could join the Craig Lowndes-led Team 18 main game wildcard.

Another Porsche graduate, Hamish Fitzsimmons, is set to contest the full season with the returning Masterton Motorsport in a Mustang, with the operation to be overseen by Bathurst-winning engineer Adam DeBorre.

Also returning are Matt Chahda Motorsport, who secured a deal to lease the ZB Commodores used in last year's development series by the now-Walkinshaw TWG Racing operartion.

Chahda himself returns to the drivers seat of his customary #18, having last competed in the DUNLOP Series at Adelaide in 2024, and will be joined by a yet to be announced second driver in the #81 Commodore.

As it stands, there will be four drivers in the running for the rookie of the year crown, namely Fitzsimmons, Tommy Smith, Alice Buckley, and the yet to be named fourth driver at Eggleston Motorsport.

Following Sydney, the 2026 DUNLOP Series will travel to Darwin, Perth, Bathurst, Sandown, and Adelaide.

Tickets for the DUNLOP Sydney 500 from February 20-22 are on sale now.
