Supercars makes structural changes to executive leadership team
New Chief Operating Officer, Chief Event Officer, Head of Communications
2026 season resumes at The Bend on September 11-13
Supercars is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Pejic as Chief Operating Officer, effective immediately.
Mark has been a valued member of the Supercars Executive team and has made a significant contribution to the organisation's growth and development. His deep understanding of the business, strong leadership capabilities and commitment to delivering positive outcomes make him ideally placed to strengthen the business and support the delivery of key strategic initiatives.
Acting CEO Barclay Nettlefold said the appointment reflects Mark's significant contribution to Supercars and his deep understanding of the business.
"Mark has been an important part of Supercars' journey over recent years and has made a meaningful contribution to the growth and evolution of the organisation since the RACE acquisition. This appointment recognises the value he has brought to the business and the confidence we have in his ability to support our continued success."

Following the departure of Phil Shaw, Nicole Dickinson has been promoted to the role of Chief Event Officer and joins the Supercars Executive team. Nicole has been a highly valued member of the organisation and has played a key role in the growth and delivery of Supercars events.
Strategic Partnerships Manager Shane Rudzis has been promoted to the Leadership Team in recognition of his outstanding achievements with Supercars’ valued partners and his work on the Bathurst 12 Hour.
In addition, Nick Raman has recently joined Supercars as Head of Communications, reporting to Chief Marketing Officer Charlotte Valente. Nick brings extensive communications experience and will support Supercars' ongoing engagement with media, stakeholders and fans.
