  • Points penalty costs Penrite Racing top spot in live pit lane

  • Ford squad docked 30 points after Matt Payne lost wheel in Race 11

  • Penrite Racing just 10 points behind Red Bull Ampol Racing

Red Bull Ampol Racing will remain at the front of pit lane for next month's Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440, but by the barest of margins.

A dominant weekend from Penrite Racing, with two wins for Matt Payne and a maiden win for Kai Allen saw the Grove squad rise up to second, however had it not been for penalty, it could've been even better.

A lost wheel for Payne in Race 11 saw Penrite Racing docked 30 points, which has seen them fall back behind Triple Eight on corrected order by just 10 points.

Despite this, the Ford squad are still on the move up pit lane in Tasmania, moving ahead of Walkinshaw TWG Racing, the only change in the pit lane order for the trip to the Apple Isle.

Dick Johnson Racing were on track to move ahead of Tickford into fourth, however Brodie Kostecki's wild spin through the infield in Race 13 brought that undone.

The 2026 Repco Supercars Championship continues at the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440 from May 22-24.
