Jess Yates releases sequel to popular children's book
Long-time Supercars TV presenter released first book last year
Latest book takes inspiration from dramatic 2025 Gold Coast round
Supercars TV presenter Jess Yates has announced a follow-up title to her hit children's book.
Yates, a mother of two, has unveiled her new book, titled Let's Go Racing! Repair Mission, which is set to be released in coming weeks.
The new book takes inspiration from a dramatic Gold Coast weekend last October, that saw Brodie Kostecki thump the wall in the first qualifying session of the weekend.
Dick Johnson Racing pulled a heroic all-night repair job after missing the Saturday race, Kostecki returning on Sunday to attempt to resurrect his Finals hopes.
Yates, who has hosted Fox Sports' Supercars coverage since 2015, has used that experience along with over two decades in broadcasting to write her second children's book.
“I’ve been blown away by the excitement and love for the original Let’s Go Racing! book we launched in 2025 and was inspired to bring another adventure from the track to our readers," said Yates.
"Let’s Go Racing! Repair Mission was inspired by the incredible action and team work we saw on the street circuit at the Gold Coast last year, and I wanted to capture the resilience and never give up attitude that the drivers and teams go racing with every time they hit the track. Come with us for the next Let’s Go Racing! adventure."
The new book was unveiled on MotorRacing 360, of which Yates is also host, and is set to go on sale in all good bookstores on September 1.
Yates will host this weekend's Supercars coverage on Fox Sports from Ipswich, beginning from 12:50pm AEST on Friday.
