Jayden Ojeda stars in Fuji 24 Hour endurance race
Supercars rookie finishes third in 24 Hour race for Mercedes-AMG
Ojeda heads to Darwin 14th overall after breakout weekend in Tasmania
Supercars rookie Jayden Ojeda has starred in NAPAC Fuji 24 Hour Race, one of Asia's crown jewel endurance races.
PremiAir Racing driver Ojeda — a Mercedes-AMG Junior Driver — was called up for the race by Craft-Bamboo Racing alongside Jeffrey Lee, Sun Jingzu, Adderly Fong and Tom Kalender.
The Craft-Bamboo Mercedes came home third in Sunday's (AEST) race, which formed Round 3 of the 2026 ENEOS Super Taikyu Series Empowered by Bridgestone season.
Ojeda, who was fresh off a Supercars career best sixth in the Tyrepower Tasmania Super 440 finale, scored a podium in the twice-around-the-clock race.
Impressively, the Ojeda car clinched the podium despite carrying 60 kilograms of success ballast, with the car also suffering a puncture and driveshaft isuse during the night.
"We were fighting for the lead but we had some issues throughout the night with a puncture and a drive shaft problem, but the team did an awesome job to get the car back on track quickly," Ojeda said.
"It felt good to cross the finish line after almost eight hours of drive time."
Ojeda returns to Australia with another appearance in the GT World Challenge Australia season at Queensland Raceway this weekend, before the Supercars season resumes in Darwin on June 19-21.
