Tickford unveil Ipswich wildcard livery
Debutant Ben Gomersall to run UNIT backing
UNIT return to naming rights for first time since 2021
Tickford Racing have unveiled a bold new livery that will adorn their junior Autosport wildcard entry at the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
Piloted by debutant Ben Gomersall, the #5 Mustang sees clothing brand UNIT return to Supercars in a naming rights capacity for the first time since 2021.
The 20-year-old Queenslander has been backed by UNIT throughout Super2, Trans Am, and TA2 in recent years, and now step up to the main game for his debut, adding a vibrant blue to the front of the black base.
It's the second event of three for Tickford's wildcard this year, after Gomersall's Super2 teammate Reuben Goodall debuted at Townsville in July. Gomersall will team up with fellow Tickford young gun Campbell Logan at the AirTouch 500 at The Bend.

"I am really pumped to be making my Supercars debut at my home track in Queensland this week," said Gomersall.
"There has been a lot building to this point and I cannot thank those enough who have supported me along the journey to get here. I am feeling really good and want to just get everything I can out of this weekend.
"The car looks great and the Tickford Racing team have done an incredible job to get the #5 UNIT Racing Mustang ready for this week.
"Cant wait to get in the car on Friday and just get the weekend underway, racing in front of so many friends and family."
Added UNIT CEO Kamal Sarroff: "We are very excited to see the UNIT brand back on the side of a Main Game Supercar and supporting Ben in his Supercars debut.
"This was the perfect opportunity for us to once again increase our involvement in a sport that we love so much, and the car looks even better in person. We cannot wait to see it rollout around Queensland Raceway on Friday and across the weekend.
"Ben is a fantastic athlete and individual, and the UNIT team are right behind him as he jumps in the #5 UNIT Racing Mustang this week."
On-track action in Ipswich begins with two practice sessions on Friday.
