Erebus Motorsport CEO Barry Ryan is set to bolster an all-Aussie assault on next month's Meguiar's Bathurst 12 Hour.

Ryan is set to fulfil Team Manager duties for Scott Taylor Motorsport's Mercedes-AMG GT3 to be piloted by Tickford Racing stars Cam Waters and Thomas Randle, as well as reigning Supercars champion Chaz Mostert.

The all-Australian effort will take on some of the world's best GT3 drivers and teams in the outright Pro class, including defending champions Team WRT, and international efforts from Chevrolet and Ford.

Ryan's signing to the team was confirmed this morning as the squad also revealed their livery for the now-traditional opener to the Australian circuit racing season.

Ryan, who led Erebus to a 12 Hour win in 2013 with German trio Thomas Jäger, Alexander Roloff, and Bernd Schneider, is excited to lead the trio of Supercars stars, and get the Ash Seward Motorsport-prepared car into the fight for victory.

“I was very excited to have Scott call me and ask me to be involved in this year's 12 Hour," said Ryan.

"Knowing that Ash and the ASM team are running the operation, and the calibre of drivers in the line up, I was happy to be part of trying to win Bathurst again.

“Scott’s passion and generosity towards Australian motorsport is hard to rival. Simply ‘doing things properly’ excites me, and his drive to win the Bathurst 12 Hour is unquestionable.

"Betty (Klimenko) was 100 percent supportive of me being involved, and I know I'm going to enjoy being on this journey with STM.

“Some may think that it's strange that we have such a mix of drivers and team people from different parts of Supercars all in the one garage, but as Scott says, we're taking our Supercars team hats off and trying to win the race as an all-Aussie effort.”

Once again, STM are teaming up with the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, who will also serve as the official charity partner of the event.

Fans can make donations via pcfa.org.au/bathurst12hr, and can get their name on a virtual car racing around Mount Panorama in a new initiative for 2026.

Taylor also welcomed the signing of Ryan, saying: "He has won this race before and knows how to get the most out of the people around him.

"The Supercars world is very competitive, so we really want to thank Tickford, Walkinshaw TWG and Erebus for allowing us to push aside the rivalries that exist in Supercars so we can have Australia's best compete against the world's best.

“I’m now just looking forward to getting there, enjoying the race, supporting a great cause with the Prostate Cancer Foundation and putting on a show for Australia and the world.”

The car will test at Sydney Motorsport Park prior to the 12 Hour weekend from February 13-15.

Ryan, Waters, Mostert, and Randle will all commence their Supercars seasons at the Sydney 500 from February 20-22. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
