The Repco Supercars Finals Series continued to deliver plenty of twists and turns, with the four drivers set to contest the bp Adelaide Grand Final set.
The Semi Final continued to deliver the intensity that was seen on the Gold Coast. Some rose to the occasion, others were caught out.
All told, the Grand Final field will consist of two Chevrolets and two Fords. Any of Broc Feeney, Chaz Mostert, Will Brown, or Kai Allen will be crowned the 2025 Supercars champion.
Supercars.com takes a look at the fortunes of the seven Finals Drivers at Sandown, and where their Grand Final dreams were realised or dashed.
Broc Feeney

Race 30: Started 7th, Finished 4th
Race 31: Started 1st, Finished 1st
Broc Feeney's 13th win of 2025 might've just been his most important one yet. A win drought dating all the way back to Queensland Raceway in August was snapped in trademark Feeney fashion from pole, though he had to battle a determined Anton De Pasquale. The win came after a quiet run to fourth on Saturday, losing the points lead to Chaz Mostert in the process. Wrestling back momentum and the lead could be the moment of his season.
Chaz Mostert

Race 30: Started 2nd, Finished 1st
Race 31: Started 3rd, Finished 4th
His 100% Finals record might've been ended, but WAU and Mostert continue to show they're more than in this title race. Credited his Saturday win to rear gunner Ryan Wood's extraordinary defence of Will Brown, and would've been thankful to have booked his ticket to Adelaide when he thumped the tyres on Sunday. Fine recovery to fourth regardless, even if the #25 wasn't as fast as it was on the Gold Coast. He and Feeney shape as the key protagonists.
Will Brown

Race 30: Started 15th, Finished 2nd
Race 31: Started 17th, Finished 3rd
What a time for the defending champion to announce himself, and how. Title hopes appeared dead and buried twice in as many days after two qualifying stumbles, yet his race performances were arguably the best they've been all year. Has gained 42 positions in all Finals races, and that's before you factor in that he got spun to the rear of the field on Saturday at the Gold Coast. With 27 positions gained at Sandown alone, you can only imagine how much of a threat he will be in Adelaide if he can qualify even at the back of the top 10.
Kai Allen

Race 30: Started 5th, Finished 7th
Race 31: Started 5th, Finished 6th
The ultimate Cinderella story gets it's final chapter. Yes, it might've come from misfortune for his teammate, but make no mistake, Kai Allen fully deserves his Grand Final berth. He admitted that race pace wasn't as strong as he would've liked, however one lap pace was certainly there, outqualifying Matt Payne on both days. Has kept his nose largely clean throughout The Finals, and it's got him to a guaranteed top four finish.
Matt Payne
Race 30: Started 6th, Finished 6th
Race 31: Started 7th, Finished 22nd
A lot has been said about Matt Payne's season-defining clash with Cam Waters, and a lot will continue to be said. Whether Payne needed to fight so hard is also up for debate, with Waters seeking vengeance after the pair collided at the first corner on the opening lap. It was odd to see the red mist descend over someone who has been ice-cool all year. Payne's first finish outside the top 12 all season ultimately ended his title run. A breakout season regardless.
Cam Waters
Race 30: Started 9th, Finished 12th
Race 31: Started 8th, Finished 21st
A season that started with so much promise ended with a spectacular implosion that was largely self-inflicted. Fading to 12th in the opener saw him drop out of the bubble having entered the weekend fourth, and his Sunday drive was ultra aggressive. There was contact with James Golding and Will Brown, before he copped five seconds for tagging Brown again later. Ultimately took out himself and Payne before he could serve his penalty.
Thomas Randle

Race 30: Started 22nd, Finished 16th
Race 31: Started 9th, Finished 13th
A weekend that never really looked like amounting to much. Qualifying 22nd for the opening race was really the final call for Randle's hopes. Needed to win on Sunday, and never threatened to do so. A disappointing end given what was on the line, and another season that's failed to deliver for Tickford as a whole.
