New Supercars, main game rookies and Super2 rising stars are getting an early look at 2025 with a series of test day this week.

Incoming rookies Cooper Murray and Kai Allen are on track at The Bend Motorsport Park in a rookie test day, before they make their full Supercars debuts at the upcoming Thrifty Sydney 500 - Opening Round on February 21-23.

The rising stars, formerly Eggleston Motorsport teammates in the Super2 Series, will race for Erebus Motorsport and Grove Racing respectively this season.

Murray will get behind the wheel of his Chiko Chevrolet Camaro, which was unveiled to the public at a special launch in Melbourne on Saturday.

Allen, meanwhile, is getting laps aboard the Penrite Racing Ford Mustang that has been rebuilt following Richie Stanaway’s Adelaide crash in November.

It’s all hands on deck for Erebus at Tailem Bend, which has handed a second test day to Super2 Series rookie Max Geoghegan.

Geoghegan joined stablemates Jobe Stewart and Jarrod Hughes last weekend at a test day at Winton Motor Raceway, which will also host two new-car shakedowns later this week.

Brad Jones Racing will shake down Andre Heimgartner’s new Camaro on Wednesday, while Anton De Pasquale will drive his new Team 18 car on Thursday.

Dick Johnson Racing and Matt Stone Racing will roll out at Queensland Raceway on Thursday, to shake down Brodie Kostecki, Will Davison and Cameron Hill’s respective new cars.

DJR will start the new season with new Erebus-built and unraced PACE Innovations-build chassis, with MSR debuting a new Camaro for Hill.

Several Super2 teams have also planned test days for this week, with Anderson Motorsport and Triple Eight Race Engineering set to roll their cars out at Sydney Motorsport Park.

The likes of Blanchard Racing Team, Walkinshaw Andretti United, Kelly Racing and Tickford Racing are also set to complete pre-season testing at Winton.

The full 24-car Supercars field will take part in the official pre-season test day at Sydney Motorsport Park on February 19, before Round 1 on February 21-23. Tickets to the Sydney 500 - Opening Round are on sale now.
