With the Repco Supercars Finals Series upon us, we asked Supercars fans for their tip for the 2025 champion.
With thousands of votes cast, the results are in, and two drivers led the way: Triple Eight star Broc Feeney and Penrite Racing rival Matt Payne.
In a Supercars.com poll, Repco Sprint Cup winner Feeney took home 42% of the vote. Feeney had a troubled enduro campaign, but remained on top of the standings after Bathurst. Repco Bathurst 1000 champion and Ryco Enduro Cup winner Payne claimed 23% of the vote, with the two young guns making up a combined 65% of the vote.
In 27 completed races, Feeney and Payne shared the podium just five times, Feeney leading 4-1. However, Payne emerged on top in their closest on-track battle, in that stunning finish in Tasmania.
Surprisingly, reigning champion Will Brown registered 3%, behind 2023 champion Brodie Kostecki (10%), Cam Waters (10%) and both Walkinshaw Andretti United drivers.
Feeney and Payne start with 25 additional bonus points, with drivers from third through 10th split by nine points on a sliding scale. See the standings below.
Here’s how the voting broke down amongst the top 10, with over 3000 votes cast:
