James Courtney and Jack Perkins to continue enduro partnership
Duo won on the Gold Coast in 2015, finished third at Bathurst in 2019
Courtney set for final enduro starts as a full-time driver
Blanchard Racing Team have become the latest team to lock in their line-up for the 2025 Enduro Cup, with the team confirming Jack Perkins will remain with the team.
Perkins will once again team up with James Courtney in the #7 Snowy River Caravans Mustang at The Bend and Bathurst, the pair having combined for finishes of 18th and 21st at Sandown last year.
This year's enduro double will be the last for Courtney as a full-time driver in the Repco Supercars Championship, with the 2010 champion set to retire from full-time competition after the bp Adelaide Grand Final.
Perkins, who won the second leg of the 2015 Gold Coast 600 with Courtney for the Holden Racing Team, is excited for the opportunity to join Courtney again for the two long-distance races.
"I am thrilled to re-join Blanchard Racing Team and partner with my friend JC and the BRT crew in the Snowy River Mustang for 2025,” said Perkins.
"James and I have shared a successful history together, and we’re eager to battle our way to the front of the grid and challenge for podiums throughout the endurance rounds."
“It's an honour to be JC’s final co-driver, and I'm eager to add more achievements to our records."
The duo also finished third at the 2019 Bathurst 1000 with WAU, and those achievements are forefront in Courtney's mind as he prepares to bid farewell at season's end.
"Partnering with Jack again truly feels like a full-circle moment, especially when reflecting on our past successes, like the Gold Coast victory and our podium finish at the 2019 Great Race," says Courtney.
“I can't think of a better way to cap off my full-time Supercars journey than alongside a friend and a fierce competitor like Jack."
BRT Team Principal Tim Blanchard has also welcomed the return of Perkins, who won two races for BRT in a two round Super2 cameo with the squad last season.
"Welcoming Jack back to the team alongside James is a promising development for BRT as we enter another ambitious endurance campaign,” says Blanchard.
“Jack’s depth of experience and his knack for performance under pressure are invaluable as we aim to propel BRT to new heights."
The announcement comes after former Tickford junior and three-time Super2 runner-up Zak Best was confirmed to pair up with Aaron Cameron in the #3 CoolDrive Mustang.
The 2025 Repco Supercars Championship continues at the Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440 from June 6-8. Tickets for the event are on sale now.
