2025 event is expected to deliver around $60 million into the local economy
Chaz Mostert won both races to kick off Repco Supercars Finals Series
The 2025 Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 has this year attracting 197,427 fans across three action-packed days on the streets of Surfers Paradise.
Like 2024, the event is expected to deliver around $60 million into the local economy, reaffirming its status as a cornerstone of the Gold Coast events calendar for more than 30 years.
For the first time ever, the Gold Coast hosted the inaugural Supercars Finals Series, delivering breathtaking racing drama as the top 10 drivers battled for championship glory.
Fans were treated to two 250-kilometre races and a week-long festival of entertainment, including the Sunset Signing Session and the vibrant Party Under The Palms, creating an unforgettable experience for motorsport enthusiasts and holidaymakers alike.
More than 4000 fans packed Surfers Paradise across two nights of concerts, featuring internationally acclaimed acts Groove Armada, The Stafford Brothers, Brooke Evers, and a lineup of DJs who kept the party alive well into the night.
Corporate hospitality numbers were exceptionally strong, even with reduced availability caused by recent beach erosion, highlighting the enduring appeal of the Gold Coast 500 as a premium experience for partners and guests.
Supercars Chief Executive James Warburton said: “The Boost Mobile Gold Coast 500 has once again delivered an incredible three days of racing and entertainment for fans here in the heart of Surfers Paradise.
“From the track to the beachside activations to Supercars first-ever finals races and world-class entertainment, fans embraced everything this event has to offer.
“We thank our volunteers, sponsors, broadcasters and, most importantly, the fans who make this event so special year after year.”
The event was proudly supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland and Experience Gold Coast, alongside Boost Mobile and a host of valued partners.
The 2025 semi-final is the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 from 14-16 November in Melbourne, that will see seven drivers continue their title campaign and fight for a spot in the final four that will stay in contention in the Championship’s Grand Final in Adelaide from 27-30 November.
