Contracted to drive for Erebus Motorsport in the main game next year, Brown filled in for David Reynolds in Round 2 with aplomb and will now return to tackle Oran Park and Bathurst on Wednesday night.

The 22-year-old this time, however, will compete in a #999 Pedders-liveried ZB Commodore.

“I was pretty excited when I heard I was going to be able to compete again in the series,” Brown said.

“I haven’t been in the series since filling in for Dave in Round 2, which I really enjoyed. It’s been a while, so I’m really looking forward to coming back for the finale.

“Obviously I’m stoked to be having a crack at the Mountain, but I’m just as excited to go to Oran Park.

“I wasn’t racing when Oran Park was around, but I know how iconic it is and everyone always talks about how epic the track was to race, so for me to get the opportunity to do that virtually is really cool.”

Another returnee will be Tickford protégé Broc Feeney, who will sub in for James Courtney in the Boost Mobile Racing Mustang.

Feeney became the first Super2 driver to win an Eseries race when he took out the reverse grid heat at Spa in Round 5.

Courtney meanwhile will focus his attention on his return to real-life racing with his new team.

Sim racing guru and 2018 V8 Touring Car Series driver Harley Haber is another confirmed starter, in a #21 Holden.

Zak Best will make it four Super2 drivers on the grid; Brodie Kostecki was also announced yesterday.

Best shone in his Adelaide debut to qualify third in his MW Motorsport Nissan, ahead of proven talents including Brown and Jordan Boys.

The quintet, plus Team Sydney boss Jonathon Webb, take the Round 10 grid size to 31 cars, with the potential for more to join yet.
