Young Canberra driver Josh Fife has earned a seat at MW Motorsport for the 2021 Dunlop Super2 Series.

Fife raced for Brad Jones Racing in 2019 and 2020, making the leap to the development series following a successful Super3 campaign.

In 2019, Fife finished third overall in the Super3 standings in a year which included a round victory.

He made the jump to Super2 and finished 10th in the truncated three-round 2020 season.

The 20-year-old recorded a best finish of seventh at the Bathurst season finale.

He also tested himself against the main game's biggest names in the BP Supercars All Stars Eseries.

In 2021, he makes the leap to MW Motorsport, which has claimed the last two Super2 crowns through Bryce Fullwood and Thomas Randle.

"After the challenging year that 2020 has been for all of us, it gave me some good time to reflect and explore new opportunities," Fife said.

"I am thankful for everything that the team at Brad Jones has taught me and I am very excited for what I will learn with MW Motorsport.

"Having watched the likes of Thomas Randle have quite the successful career with the team, I have no doubt that this race team will give me every opportunity I can get, and I am willing to work hard with every opportunity given."

Team owner Matt White is also keen to have Fife join the champion team.

"We are very excited to have Josh in our team," he said.

"I'm looking forward to see Josh’s first race win in 2021 and have a successful year."

Fife will make his MW Motorsport debut at the Mt Panorama 500 across February 26-28. Tickets to the event are on sale now.
