VSD update for Dunlop Super2 Series

Due to unavailability of various Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) panels, Supercars has updated the Vehicle Specification Document (VSD) for Dunlop Super2 Cars entering the 2022 competition.

To manage supply shortages, Supercars is allowing the use of more composite panels previously used in the Repco Supercars Championship to be used in the development series on the Car of the Future Nissan Altima, Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore.

Similar amendments were made to the Dunlop Super2 Series VSD in 2019 where OEM panels were no longer made available to teams.

The opening round of the 2022 Dunlop Super2 Series will be held at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight from March 4-6.

The previous seven winners of the development series, including 2021 champion Broc Feeney and 2020 series winner Thomas Randle, will line up in the Repco Supercars Championship in 2022.
