Team ENZED PRA young gun Cameron Waters continued dialing quick times at the Clipsal 500, locking in ARMOR ALL Pole Position for tomorrow's first race.

Waters topped both of the earlier practice sessions at the Adelaide street track today, and will line-up with Ice Break Racing's Chris Pither on the front row tomorrow.

"It was really good," Waters said of his 1min21.695 lap, 0.6 seconds quicker than Pither's best effort.

"I didn't really put lap together on first set of tyres, but on the second set it came together to get pole.

"Good start for the weekend and the year."
