Rising Super2 talent Matt Payne has announced he will contest the full 2022 European Le Mans Series.

Payne, who scored a maiden Super2 podium in Sydney last month, will race with JMW Motorsport.

The Grove Motorsport junior will race a Ferrari F488 GTE EVO in the LMGTE class.

There are no calendar conflicts between Payne’s Dunlop Series campaign and his first ELMS season.

The 2022 ELMS season consists of six, four-hour races.

The season will commence with the 4 Hours of Le Castellet in France on April 15-17.

There will also be races at Imola, Monza, Barcelona, Spa and Portimao.

"I’m excited to announce I will be driving in the 2022 championship with JMW Motorsport in the LMGTE class in a Ferrari F488 GTE EVO," he posted.

"The car is seriously fun to drive and I felt comfortable in this afternoon's session [at Silverstone].

"I am looking forward to working closely with JMW Motorsport throughout 2022."

Payne’s next Super2 starts will come two weeks later at Wanneroo Raceway.

The teen scored a pole and a podium at Sydney Motorsport Park in March.

Payne is also set for a main game co-drive with the Grove squad ahead of a possible full-time seat in 2023.

The 2022 Dunlop Series will resume in Perth across April 29-May 1.
