The Aussie Driver Search talent-finding competition has launched its 2019 prize structure, headlined by a fully-paid drive in the 2020 Dunlop Super2 Series.

It marks a continuation of the alliance with Matt Stone Racing, which is set to field the 2018 ADS Pro competition winner in Super2 next year.

The winner of that drive will be crowned at the 2018 ADS finale at Wakefield Park in New South Wales on December 11-12.

It follows a series of ADS competition rounds across the country, where those entering the Pro comp drive a genuine, Tickford Racing-built Ford Falcon FG Supercar.

The major change to the ADS prize pool for 2019 is the awarding of a 2020 Bathurst 12 Hour seat to the winner of the GT division.

Amateur and Rookie competitions will again be held, offering $100,000 and $30,000 racing budgets respectively.

ADS founder Kyle Austin says it’s a thrill to be able to offer a total of $1million worth of prizes to the winners.

“We are so excited to announce the prize packages for 2019 – it is definitely going to be our biggest and best year yet,” said Austin.

“Having the fully-funded Super2 Series prize with Matt Stone Racing is such a huge deal. This is a real life-changing award for the winner.

“And even for those who make the final, these are key moments in anyone’s motorsport journey. It’s an exciting prize and we are looking forward to the high calibre of entries.

“The GT Competition prize is amazing, too. I was watching that event a few years ago thinking it would be cool to be apart of, and I’m extremely proud that we will be able to offer someone the chance to race in it.

“The 12 Hour race has cemented itself as a world-class event in our own backyard. It will be a thrill to see someone who has come through our program racing in it.

“The Amateur and Rookie prizes can not be overlooked either. The cash prizes will kick start your racing journey and could send you onto bigger and better things.”

Entry into the 2019 competition opens at 9am, Sunday, November 25.
