Matters arising from Race 3:

Andrew Jones Car #20 received a five second time penalty to be added to his total Race timefor an incorrect start to the Race.

During the race the Bad Sportsmanship Flag was displayed for Gary Jacobson Car #999.

Matters arising from Race 2:

There were no issues.

The IO investigated the following matter: Car #87 Ashley Walsh contact to Car #99 (Steve Owen). 

No breach of Rules was established.

Following an investigation and an admission by Nick McBride Car #30 that he had driven in acareless manner, contact on Car #64 Andre Heimgartner, the Stewards imposed the penalty ofa loss of 15 Championship points.

Following an investigation and an admission by Chris Pither Car #42 that he breached D3.2Yellow Flag, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a loss of 15 Championship points.

Aaron Tebb Car #11 was relegated to the Rear of Grid for Race 2 following the Team’ssuccessful request to the Category’s Technical Manager for a replacement tyre as per RuleD18.4.3

Matters arising from Qualifying 2:

Following an investigation and an admission by Greg Emery Car #48 that he had driven in acareless manner, contact on Car #75 Aaron McGill, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a lossof Five (5) Grid Positions for Race 1 on Car #48. 

UPDATE 1, 0600hrs Saturday May 4, 2013

Matters arising from Practice 2:

Morgan Haber Car #28 was fined $350 for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit (47kph)

Matters arising from Practice 1:

The following Drivers were fined for exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit:

  • Daniel Gaunt Car #38, $350 (48kph)

  • Daniel Gaunt Car #38, $350 (49kph, second detection)

  • Cameron Walter Car #98, $750 (51kph)

  • Casey Stoner Car #27, $350 (48kph) 

Following an investigation and an admission by Car #31 Kristian Lindbom that he had driven in

a careless manner, the Stewards imposed the penalty of a loss of 2 Grid Positions for Race 1.
