Steward Update #4, (Final) issued 1900hrs Sunday 6th April, 2014

Matters arising from Race 2:

Following an investigation and an admission by Andrew Jones Car #20, in that he had driven in a careless manner contact to Car #27 Steve Owen, the Stewards imposed the deduction of 25 Series Points.

Following an investigation and an admission by Josh Kean Car #3, in that the Team had breached Regulation B9.1.2 in not exiting Pit Lane in the correct order, the Stewards imposed a $500 fine.

Further Other Matters arising from the Meeting:

Following an investigation and an admission by Fredrik Lestrup Car #44, that he had breached Regulation E1.8.2 in allowing his Car to leave the Race Track surface, the Stewards imposed a $5,000 fine with $4,000 being suspended until the 31/12/14.

Further Matters arising from Race 1:

Following an investigation and an admission by Matt Hansen Car #50, in that he had short cut the circuit and gained an advantage, the Stewards imposed a twenty eight (28) second time penalty to be added to his Race One time.

Other Matters arising from the Meeting:

Following an investigation and an admission by Action Racing, in that the Team had breached Regulation B6.5.17(b) Disobeying Officials – Pit Lane, the Stewards imposed a $250 fine.

Following an investigation and an admission by Eggleston Motorsport Australia, in that the Team had breached Regulation B6.5.17(b) Disobeying Officials – Pit Lane, the Stewards imposed a $250 fine.

Matters arising from Race 1:

Following an investigation and an admission by Garry Jacobson Car #54, in that he had driven in a careless manner contact to Car #10 Taz Douglas, the Stewards imposed the deduction of 25 Series Points.

Matters arising from Qualifying:

For causing the Red Flag during the session, Jordan Ormsby Car#46, took no further part in the session and lost his fastest lap.

For exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit, Car #42 Chris Pither (44kph) was fined $350.

Following an investigation and an admission by Paul Dumbrell Car #88 in that he had breached Schedule 2 Para 6 (a) crossed the Pit Exit Blend Line, the Stewards imposed a $500 fine.

Matters arising from Practice 2:

For exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit, Car #26 (49kph) Andre Heimgartner was fined $350.

Matters arising from Practice 1:

For exceeding the Pit Lane speed limit, the following Cars were fined:

  • Car #42 Chris Pither (44kph) - $350

  • Car #42 Chris Pither (48kph) - $350

  • Car #46 Jordan Ormsby (45kph) - $350 

  • Car #48 Geoff Emery (53kph) - $750

  • Car #20 Andrew Jones (45kph) - $350

  • Car #49 Jack Le Brocq (50kph) - $350
