Prodrive locked out the front row in the Dunlop Series qualifying at Townsville this morning with only 0.3 second the difference.

Le Brocq took his fourth ARMOR ALL Pole Position of the season with a 1min.14.0sec lap, determined to take the points lead ahead of teammate Garry Jacobson.

The Prodrive battle reignites this weekend in Townsville, with both drivers pushing to get ahead of the game.

This weekend’s racing at the Castrol EDGE Townsville 400 could decide who will take the lead of the Dunlop Series and set the difference between the currently deadlocked teammates.

Brad Jones Racing’s young gun Macauley Jones is just a stone's throw behind the Prodrive pair, proving to be a competitor in the mix.

Jones was just 0.5se behind Le Brocq, settling into position three for race one this afternoon.

Veteran Paul Dumbrell slotted into the top-five in qualifying, alongside birthday boy Richard Muscat with only 0.03sec between them.

The Dunlop Series field is continuing to be competitive in Townsville this weekend with the top 10 drivers only separated by less than a second.

The Dunlop Series will be back on-track this afternoon at 2:55pm for Race One of the Castrol EDGE Townsville 400.
