Prodrive Racing Australia have locked out the front row for this afternoon’s Race 2 at the Clipsal 500 Adelaide.

PRA’s Garry Jacobson led the way for the Melbourne-based outfit, storming to ARMOR ALL Pole Position in his new-gen FGX Falcon, recording a 1min21.68 in the final few minutes of the session.

It is Jacobson’s first career pole, with stablemate Jack Le Brocq adrift by 0.0205secs.

Yesterday’s polesitter Todd Hazelwood will start the last race of the weekend from third on the grid, alongside Garry Rogers Motorsport’s James Golding.

Brad Jones Racing’s Andrew Jones and Macauley Jones secured the third row, taking fifth and sixth respectively, while Paul Dumbrell was unusually down the order in seventh.

Josh Kean will start from eighth on the grid after being penalised 25 points for careless driving in yesterday’s chaotic season-opening race.
