Sherrin Rentals will back Aaron Seton's Matt Stone Racing entry in his maiden Dunlop Super2 Series campaign.

Seton, son of two-time Australian Touring Car Championship winner Glenn, makes the leap to Super2 in 2021 as MSR returns to the Super2 fold.

Sherrin Rentals is no stranger to motorsport, and is an industry leader in the supply of heavy earthmoving equipment rental, from wheel loaders, dump truck, and compactors to all application rollers, excavators, graders and access equipment.

"To have Sherrin Rentals onboard and joining our Super2 campaign is something I am really looking forward to," Seton said.

"I first met the Sherrin family through production car racing, and it has been great to get to know them over the years.

"It's a great opportunity to partner with such a great business and family. I am excited to see what we can work towards in the upcoming season together."

VENN IT Solutions, SS Signs, UNIT, PPG, Coregas and Muscle Car Warehouse are also supporting the team's Super2 return after three years out of the development series.

"We have known Aaron and his father Glenn for several years as we competed with them in the Australian Production Car Championship with our two car Sherrin Racing Team," Michael Sherrin, Managing Director, Sherrin Group said.

"We have also enjoyed racing with Matt Stone’s team in 2019 with our comeback to Super2 at Bathurst with David Russell and in the Sandown 500 with Todd Hazelwood where the team showed some great speed.

"We have a lot of confidence in both Aaron and the team, we wish them every success as they compete for the 2021 championship.

“I’m sure the Sherrin Rentals Racing fans, many of our employees, customers and suppliers around the country will also enjoy either watching the team on TV or with us at the track throughout the year."

Seton will make his Dunlop Super2 Series debut at the Repco Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.
