Jack Le Brocq shows his determination to take the lead from teammate Garry Jacobson this weekend, taking out position one in practice two this afternoon in Townsville.

Le Brocq made a statement in the second half of the session securing himself the fastest time on-track with a 1min14.0sec lap.  

He has continued to improve from practice one this morning, leaving his teammate rival Garry Jacobson trailing.

Macauley Jones is proving a man in the mix this weekend, jumping into position two only 0.3sec behind Dunlop Series points leader Jack Le Brocq. 

Garry Jacobson has lifted his game in practice session two this afternoon finishing in position three with a 1min4.4sec lap.

Golding reached position one with seven minutes remaining but couldn’t keep the pace up in the last few minutes of the session finishing in the top five of practice two with a 1min14.6sec lap.

Teammates, Muscat and Golding have proven to be consistent throughout practice one and two in Townsville today, both finishing in the top five for both races.

Paul Dumbrell did well to finish in position eight, missing practice one and arriving to the track just 10 minutes before practice two after an overseas trip.

The Dunlop Series is looking to be a competitive mix this weekend with Hazelwood, Fullwood, Dumbrell, Davies, Golding and Le Brocq all taking a turn in position one.

The Dunlop Series will be back on-track tomorrow morning for qualifying at 11:10am.
