Super2 and Super3 teams will take to Sydney Motorsport Park for a test day ahead of the resumption of the 2021 Dunlop Series.

The 2021 Super2 and Super3 seasons will resume at the Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight, which will be the fourth and final of four straight events in Sydney.

The test day will mark crucial running for Super2 and Super3 teams, which won’t have competed since July’s WD-40 Townsville SuperSprint.

The decision to hold a stand-alone test day was confirmed following a Dunlop Series Owners Committee meeting on Friday.

The Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight will be the fourth event of the 2021 Super2 and Super3 seasons, which began in Bathurst in February.

The Repco Supercars Championship will headline all four Sydney events, with 2021 season to resume at the Bunnings Trade Sydney SuperNight on October 29.

Four of the 11 main game races across the four Sydney events will be held under lights.
