Stewards Update (Final) - issued Sunday 18th September at 1300hrs

Matters from Race 3

Car #8 Andrew Jones received a PLP for an incorrect Pit Stop procedure, using unauthorised equipment to change tyres.

The IO investigated the following incidents with no breach of rules established:- Car #5 Jack Le Brocq and Car #54 Taz Douglas- Car #98 Renee Gracie and Car #88 Paul Dumbrell

Following an investigation and admission by Prodrive Racing (Aust) Pry Ltd Car #6 to a breach of End of Race Procedure, the Stewards imposed a fully suspended $3,000 fine until the 31/12/16.

Other Matters from Round 4 Townsville

The Stewards have concluded their Inquiry into an incident and any alleged breach(s) of the Supercars Operation Manual Rule B6.5.13, involving a Supercar official and a ‘Participant’ being the holder of a Supercars Australia Media Accreditation. The Inquiry’s Conclusions and Recommendations have today been forwarded to Supercars Australia for their consideration and any further action.

Matters from Dunlop Event Rides

Following an investigation and admission by Car #71 Marcus Zukanovic to a breach of Rule E1.8 - Speed and Conduct during Meeting Rides, the Stewards imposed a $1,000 fine with $500 suspended until the 31/12/16.

Matters from Race 2

The IO investigated an incident at Turn 1, lap one involving Car #38 Liam McAdam and Car #98 Renee Gracie, with no breach of rules established.

Following an investigation and admission by Car #18 Matt Chahda to a breach of Reckless Driving, the Stewards excluded Car #18 Matt Chahda from Round 5 of the Dunlop Supercar Series and a five (5) progressive Grid Spot penalty was also imposed.

Matters from Race 1

The following drivers received a PLP during the race for a breach of careless driving:

- Car #28 Chelsea Angelo contact to Car #56 Jake Kostecki at Turn 1- Car #62 Alex Rullo for contact to Car #38 Liam McAdam at Turn 4

During the race the IO reviewed the following two incidents with no breach of rules established:

- Car #16 Bryce Fullwood and Car #21 Josh Kean at Turn 1- Car #5 Jack Le Brocq and Car #35 Todd Hazelwood at Turn 1

Following an IO post-race review of an incident on the last lap between Car #18 and Car #98, the Stewards have approved the IO’s breach and penalty recommendation to relegate Car #18 Matt Chahda’s finishing result to be behind Car #98 Renee Gracie.

Briefing Matters

For his late attendance to the Drivers briefing, Marcus Zukanovic driver for Car #71 was fined $250.
