Brad Jones Racing and Eggleston Motorsport have revealed new colours for the 2023 Dunlop Series.
Lochie Dalton, who will compete in his first full Super2 season with BJR, will carry backing from civil contracting firm AWC Pty Ltd.
The Tasmanian made a successful debut in Super2 with BJR in Adelaide last December.
Dalton, who also races in Trans Am for Garry Rogers Motorsport, finished eighth in the finale of the VALO Adelaide 500.
He swaps a VF Commodore for a ZB, and with run with the #43 carried by team owner Jones in his ATCC debut in 1986.
It comes after Dalton finished second for the round in Trans Am at Symmons Plains.
"The car looks impressive, I’m excited to have backing from AWC for the year ahead,” Dalton said.
“Newcastle is an unforgiving circuit, it’s a pretty tough initiation for the start of the season but I’m pretty confident in the preparation we’ve done that it won’t be too difficult.
Crick's Hikvision Commodore
“I can’t thank AWC, Fiducian Finance and Brad Jones Racing enough for the support for this year and I want to repay them on track for that.
“I’m realistic about our goals this year, it’s our first full season in Super2 and while we want to finish as high as we can.
“If we can finish with a clean car and get into the top five, I’d be pretty happy with that.”
Second-year Eggleston Motorsport driver Cameron Crick has also revealed his new look for 2023.
Crick’s #38 ZB Commodore will carry major backing from Hikvision.
Crick will drive one of four Eggleston Commodores in Super2 this year, with the team also fielding a Super3 entry.
The Dunlop Series season will commence at this weekend’s Thrifty Newcastle 500.
Practice 1 starts on Friday at 10:10am local time, with the weekend headlined by a pair of 21-lap races.
