The Dunlop Super2 Series will return to Queensland Raceway in 2019 after a three-year absence.

A full schedule for the second-tier has been released today alongside that for the Virgin Australia Supercars Championship.

Rejoining the July 26-28 Ipswich SuperSprint for the first time since 2015 and skipping Symmons Plains is the major change for the Super2 Series.

The season will again start in Adelaide (February 28-March 3), before visiting Barbagallo (May 2-4), Townsville (July 5-7) and Ipswich (July 26-28).

Bathurst (October 10-13), which will continue with its 250km single-race format, becomes round five, with Sandown having moved from September to November 8-10.

The season will again end on the streets of Newcastle (November 22-24) alongside the main game finale.
