Scott Pye will carry the familiar colours of Toyota Forklifts at the marquee Sandown, Bathurst and Adelaide rounds, Team 18 has announced.

Pye will share the #20 Toyota Forklifts Chevrolet Camaro with co-driver Warren Luff at the Penrite Oil Sandown 500 and Repco Bathurst 1000.

The Toyota Forklifts colours will return at the hands of Pye at the season-ending VAILO Adelaide 500, which will be Pye’s final round with the team.

Toyota Forklifts branding returns on the #20, having acted as the major backer for Pye’s Camaro at the Bosch Power Tools Perth SuperSprint in April.

The #20 entry will carry additional support from TMHA’s Huski Construction Equipment on the rear quarter panel.

“I’m thrilled to have Toyota Forklifts back on board as our major partner for the Sandown and Bathurst endurance races as well as the Adelaide 500,” Pye said.

"These races hold a special place in my heart and I'm eager to make them proud as we tackle these iconic events together.

Team 18 owner Charlie Schwerkolt said: “It’s amazing to welcome back Toyota Forklifts as our title sponsor for Sandown, Bathurst and Adelaide.

“These aren’t just races but legendary events on the sporting calendar, so to represent a global brand on our biggest stage is a real honour for us.

“We’re excited to continue our journey, spanning over a decade, and represent Toyota Forklifts in three of our grandest races of the season, kicking off this weekend at Sandown.”

Toyota Material Handling Australia President and CEO Steve Takacs added: “We at Toyota Material Handling Australia are excited to announce our title sponsorship of Team 18 for the major Supercars events of Sandown, Bathurst and Adelaide.

“As a leading provider of forklift solutions, we see Team 18 as a perfect fit with their dedication to performance, teamwork and innovation and we are proud to continue our partnership for the tenth year in succession.

“We are proud to support Scott Pye again and his co-driver Warren Luff as they take on the endurance races. It’s great to see this combination back together and we look forward to supporting their efforts.

“We look forward to a thrilling race weekend and wish Scott and the entire team the best of luck for a successful event in Sandown.”

The #20 Toyota Forklifts Chevrolet Camaro will hit the track at Sandown on Friday for three practice sessions.
