“This year is in many ways all about a fresh approach in howwe look and certainly with the new cars the racing will be different, thoughimportantly the core members of the team are the same so importantly we havestability off track. Nobody knows what will happen this year with so many newthings but the team has done a good job to be in such a strong position withthe new car. I really like the new look and Pepsi Max is a cool brand to beracing with so I think we are going to have some fun this year. I can’t wait toget started.”
“This is certainly the wildest looking race car I’ve everhad but to think I had a part in designing it is really neat and it is a freshapproach by a factory team. We are right on top of the development of the newcar and while we will be racing soon enough, tonight is a good chance to soakup all the hard work that has gone into getting the team’s new look ready andit is great to see so many people here sharing it with us. Last year proved wecan lead from the front and I know those experiences will only make us allstronger this year.”
“Our new deal with Pepsi Max comes at a great time for theteam and the series. An all-new look and one that is much younger, fresher andmore fun reflects where the Ford brand has been heading for some time. It isalso in-tune with our own feeling within the team where we have a huge amountof talented young people working together. No matter what we do we will alwaysbe faithful to the Ford brand and I encourage all our fans to embrace the newlook and get right behind us as the sport enters a new era.”
“We’rereally excited to be working with the team at Ford Performance Racing in 2013and beyond. We’ve been involved in the V8 Supercar Series for two years now andhave loved every minute, the noise, the speed and the passion of the fans isunrivalled anywhere else in Australian sport. Working with FPR means that we’llhave not only have two cars but hopefully two cars at the front of the grid andplenty of podium finishes.”
