Preparations for the maiden PIRTEK Perth SuperNight continued last night, with a test of the lighting system to be deployed.
Barbagallo Wanneroo Raceway is hosting Supercars under lights for the first time this weekend, with practice on Thursday evening before Friday- and Saturday-night races.

An evaluation of the lighting and trackside fireworks at Turn 1 on Monday evening included Kelly Racing enduro driver Alex Rullo behind the wheel of a Holden track car.
A total of 41 light towers and five stadium-type flood lights will be installed, with a test of the full circuit expected to take place on Wednesday evening.
