Fuchs to power Holdsworth's CSR Commodore

FUCHS Lubricants Australasia are pleased to announce our sponsorship of the 2015 Charlie Schwerkolt Racing entry, as the team continues to build momentum with the recruitment of star driver Lee Holdsworth and the confirmation of top-shelf Walkinshaw Racing equipment for the 2015 season.

The confirmation of Fuchs' partnership with the team moving from Ford to Holden has completed a hectic period for both the team and driver, with Holdsworth only recently confirming the change from Erebus Motorsport to Schwerkolt and FPR three weeks ago, before the Walkinshaw option became available.

One thing that is definite - the Fuchs and Walkinshaw combination is likely to push Holdsworth back up to the front of the grid.

The V8 Supercar star explained, "The Walkinshaw cars have been increasingly quick over the later part of 2014 and are taking that momentum into 2015, which can only be good for us."

"To have the opportunity to be back at the front of the grid is what both I and the team need, and we will give it everything this year to be fighting for race wins."

Team Owner Charlie Schwerkolt, who is no stranger to the sport, with history as a team owner dating back to 2008 was pleased to confirm the announcement.

"To have Fuchs on-board as our title sponsor is fantastic. With the equipment we will be using as well as the team we have on-board I'm confident we can be at the front of the pack this coming season.

"Lee is hungry for success and we all know how fast he is, now it's simply the matter of putting the last pieces together to ensure the Fuchs sponsored Commodore is at the pointy end in 2015," concluded Schwerkolt.

Fans will have a chance to see the #18 entry in action at the V8 Supertest held at Sydney Motorsport Park, 7 to 8 February 2015.

The 2015 V8 Supercar Championship kicks off at the Clipsal 500, 26 February to March 1 at the Adelaide Parklands Circuit.
