Over 158,000 people tuned in to watch some or all of the live broadcast on Fox Sports 506. An average audience of 70,000 people watched the newly-launched series, peaking at 103,000 people over the course of the two-hour live show.

The live broadcast numbers of Wednesday night’s opening round were bolstered by online platforms, where 210,736 viewers tuned in to the live free online broadcast from around the world.

After the opening round of the 10-week BP All Stars Eseries, two-time defending Virgin Australia Supercars Champion Scott McLaughlin sits atop the Coates Hire Leaderboard, holding a 43-point advantage over Cam Waters in second place, with Chaz Mostert third, just two points behind Waters.

Holden youngster Anton De Pasquale, a pre-event favourite, will be the one to watch in the extended broadcast on Fox Sports. He claimed ARMOR ALL Pole Position for both Phillip Island and Monza last week before mid-race incidents and penalties meant things didn’t go his way. He sits in 16th position heading into round two.
