The first stage of the Cash Converters Eseries draft has been completed, with the 10 fastest qualifiers set to do battle in their bid to be snapped up by a team.

Hundreds of laps were logged in the week-long time attack session at iRacing’s Phillip Island circuit.

Brady Meyers was quickest with his 1:28.923s, ahead of Griffin Gardner (1:28.998s).

2020 Eseries drivers Emily Jones and Sam Blacklock also made the cut.

Corey Shepherd, Blake Purdie, Ryan Wood, Simon Feigl, Kurt Stenberg and Wayne Bourke rounded out the top 10.

The 10 fastest eligible entries will now go head-to-head in a closed round simulation on Wednesday August 18.

There will be a qualifying session and three races. Points will be awarded to drivers based on their finishing position in each race.

At the conclusion of Race 3, drivers will be seeded in order of their total accumulated points.

The driver who accrues the most points across the night will put themselves in the box seat to be an early draft pick.
