The Repco Supercars Pro Eseries has been moved to Tuesday nights, as next week’s season-opener closes in.
The move away from Wednesdays has been made in order to not clash with the three State of Origin rugby league matches in November.
The six-round virtual competition will run weekly from October 27 to December 1, with live coverage from 8:30-10:30pm AEDT on each occasion via Fox Sports, Kayo and Supercars’ digital platforms.
Round 1 next week will involve visits to Belle Isle [Detroit] and Silverstone – the home of Formula 1’s British Grand Prix.
Belle Isle will host qualifying and the first two 75-point heats before a 17-lap, 150-point feature race at Silverstone from 9:50pm. The grid for that finale will be determined by points accumulated across the first two races.
Qualifying will take place pre-broadcast at 8pm, with Races 1 and 2 starting 8:45pm and 9:18pm respectively.
The full calendar has also been released, including a variety of tracks plus a space left open for a fan-voted circuit.
A total of 22 cars will feature on the full-time grid, with several teams to announce their drivers in the coming days.
