The Triple Eight Race Engineering talent follows on from last week’s Super2 entries Brodie Kostecki and Thomas Randle, to go head to head against Supercars’ best.

Mouzouris, who joined the Super2 field this year as the reigning Australian Formula Ford Series winner, said he’s looking forward to taking on the challenge of virtual racing against the main game field.

“I’m super excited to race in the Supercars Eseries. It’s something I’ve wanted to be involved in since it was announced, and it’s fantastic Supercars has allowed Super2 drivers to race in also,” he said.

“I’ve been testing at home with everyone else on my sim doing about three or four hours per day cutting laps to understand the tracks and the cars, and I’ll start doing some race runs shortly to ensure my pace is competitive. I think overall it will be interesting.”

And while he’s aware he’s racing against a highly experienced group of drivers, Mouzouris is hoping the simulator will even out the playing field, just as it did with last week’s Super2 wildcards.

“Obviously the rest of the Supercars field have a lot more experience than me on track, but in e-racing the playing field is quite even, so their experience in the real world isn’t necessarily beneficial for them in this series because it’s so different. It’s going to be a lot of fun and I’m excited to see what we can do.”

Red Bull Holden Racing Team owner Roland Dane said he’s looking forward to seeing Mouzouris step up and test himself alongside other big names this week.

“Angelo is an avid simulator racer, so we’re looking forward to seeing him in action for round four of the Supercars All Stars Eseries.

“It’s a tremendous initiative by Supercars to allow wildcard entries from Super2 to compete virtually against the full Supercars field, as well as a number of high-profile international drivers. The experience he’ll gain from this will further help his racing development.

“He has a high level of racing talent, so hopefully he can showcase this on Wednesday night,” Dane said.

Round 4 of the 2020 BP Ultimate All Stars Eseries will see Mouzouris join fellow wildcards Marcos Ambrose, Joey Logano and Alexander Rossi along with the Supercars field at a virtual Circuit Gilles Villeneuve in Montreal, Canada and at Watkins Glen.

Qualifying for the fourth round will begin tomorrow night at 6:00pm AEST and will be broadcast exclusively on Fox Sports 506 before racing begins at 7:00pm.

From 7:00pm, racing will be broadcast live on Fox Sports 506, Kayo, Sky Sports (NZ) and 10 Play. Online fans from around the globe can watch races via the Supercars’ Facebook Page and Supercars’ Teams Facebook Pages.
