There's plenty to get excited about at the Coates Hire Ipswich 400 this weekend, with high-octane entertainment and off-track fun guaranteed to keep you busy.

The 'paperclip' is set to roar with back-to-back qualifying and two V8 Supercars 100km races on Saturday.

The main series kicks off at 11.25am with qualifying, as drivers push to the limits to try and lock in that front row start.

Get buckled into your reserved grandstand seat - which will also get you a pass in to the pit stop demonstration on Sunday morning -and have the box seat for the weekend's racing action.

Tickets are still available for the event, and kids under 14 are free trackside with a paying adult.

Between races you can keep the adrenalin pumping when the Dunlop Series and Aussie Racing Cars take to the track to put on a show.

With your paddock pass, score a signed poster and a photo with your V8 Supercars favourites at the official autograph session. It's the best opportunity to get up close and personal with the main game pilots outside of their cars over the weekend. You can grab an autograph and meet the Dunlop Series drivers too at their signing.

See the impressive purpose-built transporters and catch all the behind-the-scenes action from the rear of the garages with your paddock pass, as the teams prepare their beasts before they go out to battle. Have your cameras ready - you may even bump into a driver.

Watch the Hot Wheels Stunt Team burn some rubber in their drift utes, or let them leave you wowed by their skills when they perform their dangerous and spectacular motorbike stunts on track.

Stock up on your favourite team's merchandise down at Merchandise Alley, or say hi to the Hot Wheels Stunt Team at their display. You can even test your racing skills on the incredible simulators on offer.

The kids will be kept busy at the Disney Fun Zone, with special appearances from Mack the Transporter and Lighting McQueen. They can take a break from the action-packed racing to catch the latest Disney blockbuster, Planes, in the B-double trailer, or bounce around in the inflatable Planes-themed zone. They can even try their hand at racing, testing their peddle power at the World Grand Prix Training Track.
