Wilson Security and Payce Consolidated have both confirmed they will conclude their naming rights partnership with Dick Johnson Racing at the end of the 2014 season.

Both companies teamed up with DJR from the commencement of the 2013 season, at what was a pivotal and critical time for DJR. At the end of the 2013 season the partnership was extended into the current year.

Now -with the team morphing into DJR Team Penske next year, Wilson Security Asia Pacific CEO John McMellan felt it was an appropriate time to look at other opportunities.

"With DJR now moving into a new phase of ownership from next year, we reassessed our position," McMellan said in a statement.

"From that review, Wilson Security determined it to be a practical and appropriate time for us to look at alternative opportunities that fit with our commercial strategy moving forward."

"On behalf of everyone at Wilson Security and Payce Consolidated, I would like to wish Dick and his team all the best with their new plans for the 2015 Championship and beyond."

Dick Johnson added: "We have enjoyed a great relationship with John McMellan and Brian Boyd. They are great supporters of motor sport and we fully respect and understand their decision."

DJR has had a difficult turnaround since the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000 with extensive damage to Scott Pye's Falcon and an issue putting the David Wall Falcon out of the race when co-driver Steven Johnson was leading.

Wilson Security has been linked to other teams in pit lane, including Volvo after branding ran on the S60 bonnets at the Australian Grand Prix support event earlier this season.
