Erebus Motorsport has revealed Will Brown's maiden full time event will be backed by WD-40.

The team unveiled Brown's new-look car for Repco Mt Panorama 500, which will open the 2021 Repco Supercars Championship.

The team confirmed a rolling sponsorship programme throughout the season, with WD-40 taking pride of place on the #9 Commodore this weekend.

Earlier this week, Erebus took the covers off the Boost Mobile-backed car Brodie Kostecki will campaign this season.

Brown enters this weekend's event having topped official pre-season testing at Winton Motor Raceway last Friday.

The livery's PPG base is wrapped in a blue and yellow Metamark wrap.

WD-40 takes centre stage on the bonnet, doors and boot.

The team also welcomes Ozland Group Solutions, Shaw & Partners, KMC Wheels and Automotive Superstore as new partners.

"To start the year off with WD-40 is really exciting," Erebus CEO Barry Ryan said.

"WD-40 have come on board for the entire season, but this round it takes top billing.

"WD-40 is the brand of choice for the team and the car is sure to make a big impact on track."

Brown added: "I am very excited to have WD-40 on the car for the opening round at Bathurst.

"They're such an iconic brand and have been in motorsport for a long time so it’s great to have them feature on my car.

"I'm really looking forward to Bathurst and hopefully we’ll see the Erebus WD-40 car up the front."

WD-40 Company General Manager Nick Roberts said: "We are proud to partner with Erebus this weekend at Bathurst and beyond. We look forward to what will undoubtedly be an awesome weekend of racing.

"Keep an eye out for the Erebus mechanics using WD-40’s iconic blue and yellow cans, as well as our WD-40 Specialist range to see how great these products are."

Cars will hit the track on Friday for opening practice of the Repco Mt Panorama 500. Tickets are on sale now.

This weekend’s event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and the Seven Network, and will be streamed on Kayo. Check out the full TV schedule here.
