Kurt Kostecki’s Walkinshaw Andretti United wildcard livery will feature prominent Mobil 1 branding.

Kostecki, who will make his first main game appearance since last October’s Bathurst 1000, will steer the #27 entry at this weekend’s OTR SuperSprint at Tailem Bend.

The 2019 Super2 runner-up, who will be joined by fellow wildcard Thomas Randle, will also campaign the Mobil 1 entry at the Merlin Darwin Triple Crown and Bunnings Trade Perth SuperSprint.

Mobil 1, now distributed by Ampol in Australia through a lubricants marketing alliance with ExxonMobil, is supported by Ampol’s vast distributor partner network around Australia.

The bold black, white, and red livery design has been brought to life by PPG, Spicers and Signzone.

The design itself is reflective of the theme carried on cars #2 and #25.

Kostecki’s car also carries the branding of WAU co-naming rights partners Middy’s Electrical and Appliances Online, as well as major partners gomo, Morris Finance, Truck Assist and Volkswagen Amarok W580.

"Car 27 looks incredible, the Mobil 1 logo always looks so impressive on our cars, and it has serious presence even standing still,” team principal Bruce Stewart said.

"The way the design reflects both Chaz and Bryce’s car as well shows how we are approaching this Wildcard programme, so it’s great to have three team cars this weekend.

"We are forever grateful of the loyalty and support shown to us from Mobil 1 over 28 years, their new distributor in Australia, Ampol, and of course, their wonderful distributor network across Australia and New Zealand.

"We can’t wait to see how Kurt goes this weekend at The Bend, as well as in Darwin and Perth later this year.”

Cars will hit the track for Practice 1 at 9:15am AEST.

The event will be broadcast live on Foxtel and will be streamed on Kayo with highlights on 7 and 7 Plus.
