Inside Line: A Season with the WAU Team – Teaser Trailer [Uncensored]

The second instalment of the much-anticipated I_nside Line – A season with Walkinshaw Andretti United_ docuseries is set to be released on Supercars official YouTube channel.

Fans can watch all episodes of the six-part series free and on-demand on Supercars YouTube channel from Thursday January 13 at 9am AEDT.

Inside Line follows the trials and tribulations of WAU's Supercars campaign during the COVID-impacted 2020 season.

Six 45-minute episodes tell the tale of redemption for the former Holden Racing team as they attempt to fight back after years of mediocrity with broad sweeping changes, including two new drivers led by star signing Chaz Mostert.

Enduring 106 days on the road to keep the team and the sport alive, can this new outfit regain some of its former glory?

The series features all rounds of the 2020 Repco Supercars Championship and some incredible behind-the-scenes drama.

WAU drivers Mostert and Bryce Fullwood, team principal Bruce Stewart and WAU co-owners Ryan Walkinshaw, Zak Brown and Michael Andretti all feature in the latest season.

Supercars.com breaks down what to expect in each episode.

Episode One

We explore the rich history of the Walkinshaw name and its former glory as the Holden Racing Team.

We meet Zak brown and Michael Andretti and understand why they decided to get form WAU.

Mostert explains his desire to succeed, and we head to Adelaide where the team gets off to an incredible start.

Episode Two

We learn more about the first rookie signing for the team in almost 20 years.

The first race of the season sees things heat up on and off the track, Fullwood struggles to find form, and Ryan Walkinshaw is buoyed by Mostert's strong results on debut.

The Supercars championship grinds to a halt at the Formula One Australian Grand Prix, with the onset of the global pandemic.

Teams stay active with Eseries and after 106 days without racing, we return to the track in Sydney.

WAU is forced to make a last-minute dash across the NSW border and start a journey that will have them away from home for the next four months.

Episode Four

Fullwood returns to his hometown for back-to-back races in Darwin, ready to prove he has what it takes.

Mostert finds form only to struggle with mechanical issues, and being away for nearly 50 days starts to take its toll on the team.

Episode Five

Mostert loves the Townsville layout, and it translates with some solid results.

The good form continues in South Australia, however, it’s rookie Fullwood who steals the show, with his first Supercars career podium.

The team begins to count down the days until they can return to family and friends, with only one round remaining.

Episode Six

The biggest and most challenging race of the year, the Bathurst 1000.

Can the team maintain focus and deliver a strong result to end their 100-day road trip on a high?

The 13-event 2022 Repco Supercars Championship will commence in Newcastle next year. Tickets for the event are on sale now.

The 13-round draft calendar was released during the Repco Bathurst 1000 weekend.
