Viewers are set for a behind-the-scenes insight into the unprecedented last-minute cancellation of the 2020 Australian Grand Prix.

The latest instalment of the Inside Line – A Season with Walkinshaw Andretti United will delve into the events of last March.

The six-part series will premiere on the Seven Network, Fox Sports 506 and Kayo.

The one-hour episode will air on Fox Sports (Channel 506) following the broadcast of the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight on Saturday November 6.

It will provide a first-hand account of the unfolding situation at Albert Park in 2020 ahead of the event being called off by the Australian Grand Prix Corporation.

Featuring interviews with drivers Chaz Mostert, Bryce Fullwood - as well as commentator Mark Skaife and Fox Sports host Jess Yates - viewers will see behind-the-scenes footage from the abandoned F1 event.

An exclusive interview with Team Principal Bruce Stewart details the team's trepidation, as members of the McLaren Formula One team had visited their garages the previous day.

The third episode also features WAU's last-minute dash from Melbourne across the NSW border to compete in back-to-back rounds at Sydney Motorsport Park during a global pandemic.

It follows episode one, which featured Mostert’s start to the 2020 season with a successful outing in Adelaide.

Episode two showcased young gun Fullwood’s rise from karting and Dunlop Super2 Series success to his rookie Supercars season.

Hollywood star Anthony LaPaglia provides narration to the series.

The Seven Network will show the second episode on Saturday November 6 at 2:00pm AEDT on 7mate and 7Plus and episode three on Saturday November 13 at 2:30pm AEDT.

Fans can watch all available episodes on demand on Kayo and 7plus.

The 2021 Repco Supercars Championship will continue this weekend at the ARMOR ALL Sydney SuperNight.
