The V8 Supercars circus rolls into town later today during the ever-popular transporter parade.

The Castrol EDGE Townsville 400 begins on Friday, but this afternoon fans have the chance to see the awesome B-doubles arrive and park up ahead of the racing this weekend.

The transporters move the V8 Supercars and all their equipment, and act as a home for the teams across race weekends. Two V8 Supercars transporters are also part of the parade, which are similarly used by those involved in the sport across a race meeting.

The annual transporter parade begins at midday today starting at Webb Drive and finishing at Boundary Street.
