V8 Supercars family mourns sudden passing of Jamey Blaikie

V8 Supercars is terribly saddened to learn of the unexpected and accidental passing of Jamey Blaikie who was instrumental in building the prestigious Porsche Carrera Cup.

The former Porsche Cars Australia Motorsport Manager was killed in a car accident yesterday while holidaying in Fiji.

Blaikie was a member of the Porsche and V8 Supercars family for many years and had many great friends in the sport. His incredible dedication to the Porsche Carrera Cup and motorsport spanned his lifetime. He leaves a great legacy for Australian motorsport.
