Last year’s even winner Jason Bright is leading the accumulative points after yesterday’s victory, but today two V8 Supercars races will run at the ITM 500 Auckland.

With practice, two qualifying sessions and two 100km dashes around the 2.91km Pukekohe circuit, fans won’t be disappointed with the amount of V8 Supercars action.

Throw in the impressive support category line-up – TradeZone GTRNZ, AutoSure Central Muscle Cars, UDC V8 Utes, NZV8 Touring Cars and the BNT V8 SuperTourers – and fans won’t be short a good motor race at the circuit drivers are describing as “exhilarating”.

The off-track action ramps up for the last two days, with an increased number of activities and entertainment options at the track.

There's the ultimate place for families, the Disney Fun Zone, where kids can explore the new Planes-Themed inflatable zone, or chill and watch a Disney movie. From 10am to 4pm, and with its own World Grand Prix Training Track, if you have little ones, it’s an activity not to be missed.

Right near the family zone, the Beach Hop Classics and Hot Rods will be gleaming. The 60 prize-winning vehicles will be on display – and they will actually cut laps in the drivers’ parade on Sunday.

Speaking of drivers, an autograph session involving all 25 of V8 Supercars' main men will take place in pitlane from 9am to 9.30am, in the paddock – so ensure you have your paddock pass.

And fans of local band Titanium will have the chance to meet the group from 3pm to 3.30, if autographs are your thing. Stay tuned before race start to see the Kiwi bots sing on the grid!

For those taking public transport to the circuit – which is free with a pre-purchased ticket – a Fan Trail will run from Pukekohe Railway Station to Pukekohe Park Raceway, the street dotted with special street entertainment. So your trip into the track will be just as much fun.

There’s plenty more to see at the circuit – click here for full details of what’s on.

Tickets are still available for the ITM 500 Auckland – and with five V8 Supercars sessions today, it is the perfect time to come to the track.
