Shane van Gisbergen will join the Supercars team for Tuesday night’s inaugural Tuesday Night Takeaway to talk about his record-breaking clean sweep of the Penrite Oil Sandown SuperSprint.

Speaking live on the brand-new Facebook show, the Red Bull Ampol Racing driver will wrap up his action-packed weekend at Sandown alongside hosts Chad Neylon and Briony Ingerson.

Live streaming from Supercars HQ, the show will feature some cheeky humour about the weekend that was, along with event recaps, race highlights and an exclusive chat with Kiwi legend Greg Murphy.

Mark Larkham will join the team to tell fans what has him revved up after Sandown, along with plenty of behind the scenes activity from the Melbourne circuit.

“It’s great to have Repco’s support of this all-new concept,” said host Chad Neylon.

“We want this to be fun and really interactive, make the fans as much a part of the show as we are.

“Being online it can be a bit loose. Quick and easy, like real takeaway.

“Hopefully we get a laugh out of it. Although Briony’s not very funny.”

Named by the fans in a Facebook competition last week, the lucky winner received a $200 Repco voucher for their creative efforts.

The _Tuesday Night Takeawa_y will be live streamed on Facebook on the Tuesday night after each race weekend.

"Supercars is stepping up its game when it comes to digital programming," said Supercars Head of Digital Transformation, Dijana Barbarich.

“Tuesday Night Takeaway is the first of many live original shows we will produce across our digital properties”

“These shows will be different to what we do on TV. They will be very relaxed and fun...that’s the tone we want to see.

On hosting the new show, Briony Ingerson said: “It’s cool to be able to engage with our fans in a different way.”

“I like to think of Tuesday Night Takeaway as the online version of standing around the watercooler in the office and chatting about the weekend.

“There’s also some questionable humour involved.

“If you find things funny it was my idea. If you don’t then, it was probably Chad’s idea.”

Join the Tuesday Night Takeaway show live on Facebook from 7pm AEDT tonight.
